Make no mistake, these phones are not meant for you, unless you can stand a 3 inch QVGA screen. When was the last time you heard about a QVGA smartphone? Because I can’t remember. On the processor side, there’s an 850 MHz single core ARM Cortex A9 under the hood. While I can’t be 100% certain that it’s a Broadcom chip, judging by Samsung’s history with low end devices, I’m going to be that that’s what’s inside. Why do these two phones look like a shrunken down Galaxy S III? Because that’s how Samsung rolls. They take their premier device and blow it up (Galaxy Note) as well as shrink it down in order to give people who can’t afford a flagship phone a chance at owning a Samsung. As usual, Samsung has failed to provide any prices or dates of availability, but it’s not like it matters anyway. Like I said earlier, these phones are not for you. They’re important though, because they’re going to be the first smartphones that many people will actually own.
