The Smart Indoor Camera from Qubo is a good option for people who like to keep a tab on what’s happening back at their home when they are out. Or, for people with kids, back at home alone. The camera comes with a 2.8-inch IPS touchscreen display and weighs in at 600grams. At its core, lies a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm APQ8053L processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB with microSD card). For optics, it has a 3.2MP camera with 1080p full HD recording and LED for night time recording. The device also has two far-field mic array with noise cancellation and high-fidelity 5W dual-speakers for audio capturing.
Additionally, the Smart Indoor Camera has a bunch of features like live streaming, cloud storage, motion detection, object detection, face recognition, ambient light sensor, ultra-wide 140-degree field of view, six-meter voice activation for Alexa, siren, and two-way calling. Furthermore, it also has Alexa built-in, which can be used to get weather updates, listen to news/music, control smart home devices, and a lot more. The Q-eye Advanced AI technology in the camera uses the Deep Learning technology and its own set of algorithms to detect objects, people’s face, nearby sound, etc. Taking advantage of this technology, the camera can easily detect people, intruders, and crying babies at home. Since the camera allows users to monitor activities back at their home, it requires some level of encryption to keep the information exchange secure. For this, the device comes with a secure silicon chip PKI-based root-of-trust to offer secure and encrypted transmission of data on the network.
Qubo Smart Sensor (Gas, Smoke, Door/Window)
The Qubo Smart Sensor family includes three devices: Smart Gas Sensor, Smart Smoke Sensor, and Smart Door/Window Sensor. These devices provide real-time updates to home safety and security using alerts through the Qubo app.
As the name suggests, the Smart Gas Sensor detects a gas leak at home before it becomes lethal and alerts the user through the Qubo app. Similarly, the Smart Smoke Sensor uses its high-tech sensors to detect smoke early and the Smart Door/Home Sensor attaches to the door and windows at home and alerts when someone tries to break in through the door or window.
