Remember Palm? Last we heard, TCL was planning on resurrecting the brand and prepared to launch a variety of devices throughout this year. That didn’t happen, but Palm isn’t down and out yet. That’s because Palm is back and brand new, having bought the brand from TCL. This company is based out of California, and it’s launching its first product with the Palm brand on back in November. This device is technically a phone, but Palm is positioning it more like a companion device....

You know as well as I do that fighting robocalls is an uphill battle that gets more and more steep every year. Just look at the numbers. In 2018, Americans received over 25 billion robocalls. Earlier, Airtel had complained to TRAI regarding Jio’s free promotional offers. Now, it time for Reliance Jio to fight back. Well, if you watch television then you might have noticed new ad of Airtel. Airtel claimed that their network is the “Fastest” in India. Airtel claimed in the new advertisement that is advertised on television that Airtel is “Officially India’s Fastest Network.” Reliance Jio in return lodged a complaint with Advertising Standards Council of India against the false claims....

HTC’s device—if Bloomberg’s claims are accurate—would challenge market leader Goo, reportedly packing a 16-megapixel camera Bluetooth fi connectivity. According to a report from Engadget, the South Korean-based electronics company will announce a new round-faced smartwatch at next week’s IFA show in Berlin. don’t know of any specs for the new smartwatch—reportedly named the G tch R—but published an unlisted teaser video to one of its official YouTube accounts, Engadget notes. The teaser video hints at a completely round screen—a subtle jab, perhaps, at the Moto 360, whose screen isn’t actually completely round despite its round face....

According to Android Geeks, this information comes via the same inside source who accurately pegged the Note III’s launch date. The source goes on to mention that Samsung will “send out the invitations to the Unpacked event sometime mid-August.” It’s unclear if the “release date” mentioned means you’ll be able to walk into a store buy a Note 4 on September 4th, or if Samsung merely plans to hold its launch event possibly begin preorders on that day....

What’s missing Let’s start with those omissions. On the one hand, I’m shocked, having been a big audio jack proponent for years – and I thought Samsung was on my side here. On the other, having heard the superlative audio from the best Type C-driven external DACs, like this HIDIZS one, and also having got used to good Bluetooth audio – I use a ROCKJAW T5 conjoined set – even I don’t miss a jack too much in 2020....

The first batch of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 powered devices are not scheduled to arrive until April. So, to keep the buzz around its upcoming chipset alive, Qualcomm has detailed some key improvements that it has made with its latest chipset that will further improve the photos and videos you take with your phone. Last week, rumors started floating on the Internet that Qualcomm is facing issues with its upcoming Snapdragon 810 chip, which would reportedly delay the launch of next-generation flagships like the Galaxy S6, HTC One and the LG G4. Turns out that it was just a baseless rumor, which has now been shot down by Qualcomm’s Senior Director of Public Relations, Jon Carvill. While Carvill refused to comment on the delay or the rumor, he did say that the development on the Snapdragon 810 chip is going as per schedule....

Qualcomm today unveiled three new chipsets for its mid-tier and budget platforms: the Snapdragon 632, Snapdragon 439, and Snapdragon 429. Aimed at mass-market smartphones, they feature enhanced AI capabilities along with improved connectivity, GPU performance, and power efficiency. The Snapdragon 632 is the most powerful of the lot, it features 40 percent higher performance compared to Qualcomm’s popular Snapdragon 626 chipset thanks to its Kryo 250 CPU. This is the first time that Qualcomm is bringing its Kryo CPU to its budget chipset....
