Qualcomm today sent out press release which contains quotes from OEMs like Motorola, LG and Xiaomi praising the company’s upcoming Snapdragon 810 chipset. With the Snapdragon 810 reportedly having overheating issues and Samsung dropping the chipset from its Galaxy S6, Qualcomm has presumably sent out this press release to confirm the industry’s confidence on its upcoming chipset. The press release states that more than 60 high-end Android devices are in the pipeline that will be based on the Snapdragon 810 that will be unveiled in the coming weeks and months....

Well, things are looking up for those waiting for a red Nexus 5, as after the device was seen in leaked photos last week, its retail box has decided to strike a pose for the camera. Twitter user @artyomstar has posted a couple of pictures showing a red Nexus 5 box, and while you might be considering calling it a fake, it is anything but. Why? Because if you look closely at the picture down below, you can see multiple Nexus 5 16GB boxes with the text “GBR RED RED” on them....

A new report claims that LG has been asked to make its third Nexus smartphone in a row: the Nexus 6. Last week, SquareTrade supply conducted a bend test on Samsung’s latest Galaxies and found that the display on the Galaxy S6 edge cracked easily under the same pressure under which the iPhone 6 Plus only bent. Samsung has now issued a press statement where it says that the video from SquareTrade assumes a very specific condition where the phone is subjected to 110lbf. This rarely happens in normal conditions with a maximum of 66lbf (30kgf) being generated when a phone is pressed in the back pocket of its user....
