The OnePlus Nord is dropping tomorrow, and we know almost everything about the phone. The only missing piece here is its pricing. One day ahead of the launch, the phone’s design was unveiled in a video on MKBHD’s YouTube channel. The company’s co-founder also shared some interesting insights into the phone’s development processor. OnePlus also revealed information about the OnePlus Buds. Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, showcased the OnePlus Nord in its two colors during Marques Brownlee’s Waveform podcast....

The Project Ara modular concept was announced in October last year by Motorola and Google. However, with Motorola being sold to Lenovo, there was a some uncertainty over the future of this project. Google has now made it clear that the company is still behind it and has also announced a developer conference in April which will be live-streamed for the world audience. I am always thinking about how to describe the magnitude of unstructured data to people that are not familiar with the subject. As the release comes from Qualcomm not Asus, it is fairly light on details other than the chipset, but it’s a good one. According to the French Android website FrAndroid, local operator Orange will be launching LG’s first curved smartphone, the G Flex, in February 2014. There’s no word on pricing information, however, which is something the entire world is eager to see considering the new screen technology involved. The European Commission has fined Qualcomm €997 million ($1.2 billion) for using its dominant position in the industry to thwart competition through unfair business practices. In its ruling, the EU body says that Qualcomm prevented other LTE modem suppliers to offer their baseband to a “key customer” by making significant payments to it. The “key customer” here refers to Apple. The agreement between Apple and Qualcomm was signed in 2011 which entitled the former to a significant payment if it solely used Qualcomm’s baseband chips in its iPhone and iPad devices....
