OnePlus is expected to release the OnePlus TV in India later this month. Now the company has teased some custom changes to its Android TV. Last time around we got to see the OnePlus TV remote and now the company is teasing its smartphone integration. Ahead of the launch, Pete Lau has posted a new teaser that says “Fast, smooth, seamless control through your smartphone.” Needless to say, he is hinting at OnePlus TV’s integration with a smartphone....

Qualcomm, MediaTek and Intel have just announced their new breed of mobile chipsets which are all set to don the markets in 2014. Now, the OnePlus 3 has been spotted on the benchmarks bearing a model number A3000 and the listed specs are as follows, 5.5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 820 alongside the Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM/32GB of Internal storage. HTC has already announced that it will be updating the One M8 and One M7 to Android 5.0 Lollipop within 90 days of the source code being released by Google. The company has also confirmed on Twitter that it would be updating the One Mini 2, One Max, the HTC Butterfly 2 to Lollipop, though it failed to provide any timeframe. Android SoC vendors like Qualcomm have constantly used some proprietary tweaks to speed up Dalvik runtime on their SoCs, which have helped increase scores in benchmarks dramatically. However, since these optimizations are proprietary (closed source), they are not included in the Nexus devices and cannot be used by developers in custom ROMs, because of variations of OEM skins from stock Android. The lack of Dalvik optimizations is also the key reason why the Nexus devices always scored lower in benchmarks compared to offerings from other OEMs....
