The Samsung Galaxy S10 only launched earlier this year, but it looks like the smartphone is getting a bit of a tweak when it comes to low-light photography. In the latest April update for the Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung is including a dedicated Night Mode feature for the camera. However, this isn’t a brand new feature in its own right. It appears, based on the information in the original post, that Samsung separated the original Bright Night feature with the built-in camera and call this Night Mode....

Earlier this year, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9R. The company is known for releasing flagships twice every year. In other words, OnePlus is expected to launch its new flagship lineup later this year. We already have information about the upcoming OnePlus 9T. After the OnePlus X turned out to be a flop, OnePlus is working on a new mid-range smartphone, and it hopes that the phone succeeds this time. But is it really? Google doesn’t develop Android in the open. According to the Japanese supply chain website EMSOne, Taiwanese handset maker HTC is in the process of doing two things it’s never done before. First, it’s going to outsource some of its smartphone manufacturing to another company, specifically Compal Electronics. Two, it’s building a phone with a MediaTek chipset. That second point is especially important since Qualcomm owns a small piece of HTC. Remember that HTC tried to use a non-Qualcomm part when launching the NVIDIA Tegra 3 powered One X back in 2012, but that device flopped....

But a new front is about to be opened, with the certification of Sailfish OS as the only mobile Operating System that can be used by government entities. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is still a few months away from launch at best, but rumors about Samsung’s upcoming flagship have already started doing the rounds of the Internet. A report from the Korean media claims that the Galaxy Note 5 will ditch the microUSB 2.0 port in favor of a USB 3.1 Type-C port. Samsung is reportedly set to reveal the details of its Galaxy Note 7 investigation next week on January 23rd, but key details from the final report of the investigation have already been leaked. While the blame was initially put on faulty batteries supplied to the company by Samsung SDI, the detailed investigation paints a different picture. Samsung is rolling out a new biometrics security patch for the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ that seems to dramatically improve the in-display fingerprint scanner performance. The relatively small 7MB update is automatically showing up on Galaxy S10 units across the world and cannot be triggered by manually checking for system updates.
