Qualcomm today unveiled the Snapdragon 675, a premium mid-range chipset for upcoming premium mid-range smartphones, at its 4G/5G Summit in Hong Kong. The chip will succeed the Snapdragon 670 launched earlier this year which has so far not made an appearance inside any Android device. Qualcomm has focused on three aspects with the Snapdragon 675: gaming, triple cameras, and AI. Built on the 11nm LPP process, the Snapdragon 675 features Qualcomm’s 4th gen 4x Kryo CPU running at 2GHz....

To begin with, Airtel will be offering, under its Infinity postpaid plan, 5/10/15GB of free 4G/3G mobile every month for a year. Postpaid customers will be required to purchase the phone on a contract which starts from Rs 19,990 for the base variant of iPhone 7 and on top of that, monthly charges will vary based on the selected plans. In an article published to Nature, entitled “Interconnected hollow carbon nanospheres for stable lithium metal anodes,” by several researchers, the new battery is detailed in great length, eventually concluding that it’s possible to create a battery that doesn’t take up more space (get thicker), but can provide two to three times longer battery life, just by finding better ways to use the technology we already have....

Late last month, the folks over at Android Police posted a pretty interesting feature that might come to a future version of Android — “Ok Google everywhere” — along with a major revamp of the navigation buttons and the recents menu. Now, they have revealed more information about this revamp and it looks like Google is getting ready to give the launcher a drastic overhaul.
