After months of being on sale via an invite only system, the OnePlus One went on pre-order earlier this week…..for an hour. However, the OnePlus servers struggled under load because of which many consumers were unable to login and place their pre-order. To make up for this, OnePlus is going to hold another pre-order for the One on November 17th at 15:00 GMT. The announcement post from OnePlus, however, fails to mention exactly how long the pre-order window will remain open this time. By scheduling a pre-order a couple of weeks late in November, OnePlus will be able to better prepare their inventory and fix all the issues that plagued users in the first pre-order. The best and quickest way to get your hands on the OnePlus One is still via an invite though. While the pre-order system does not require an invite, you will be in a virtual queue with other users who pre-order the handset, and might have to wait 4-5 weeks before OnePlus ships your handset.
